- Description
Château Martinet Saint-Émilion Grand Cru displays a personality that blends elegance and structure. This great wine presents a complex bouquet with aromas of spices, vanilla and black fruits. On the palate, it expresses itself in roundness with delicate tannins that support a persistent finish that will charm the most refined palates. Appellation: Saint-Émilion Grand Cru Region: Bordeaux, France Vintage: 2017 Style: Red Grapes: Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon Vinification: Chateau Martinet is located on a splendid 25-hectare property in the heart of the city of Libourne. We had the great pleasure of visiting the Château in July 2025 and were enchanted by its charming 18th century manor house and spectacular trees on the grounds. Château Martinet is a city vineyard, offering a warm microclimate allowing for optimal grape ripeness. The family is supported by none other than Gilles Pauquet and Stéphane Toutoundji, who also advise wineries such as Château Cheval Blanc. Alcohol: 13.5% Farming: Conventional Pairing suggestion: Mild cheese, roast beef, braised beef, coq-au-vin
