The Champagne Rosé de Saignée Extra Brut by Emmanuel Brochet is one of those monumental sparkling wines that leave a long-lasting impression. The term "Rosé de Saignée" refers to maceration: the color is obtained with the "bleeding" of the Pinot Meunier skins, which remain in contact with the must for 24 hours, a less common method than blending red and white wines. Intense aromas of citrus and red fruits flow from the glass, which together with hints of butter and pastry are reminiscent of Sicilian delicacies. The sip is brisk, dynamic yet well-balanced, with marked freshness. A wine of impressive persistence, an icon of artisanal elegance
