Telmo Rodriguez's father built a great reputation with this bodega. Now two children Amaya and Telmo are 'in charge'. The vineyards of Bodegas Remelluri are located on the slopes of the Sierra de Tolono mountains and are therefore among the highest in the region. They face south and are protected from wind and frost by the mountains. The stony soil with layers of clay, the rainfall from the Atlantic coast and the lower temperatures than average in Rioja ensure a good phenolic ripening of tempranillo.
