The Michele Chiarlo Barolo Cerequio is the first Barolo to be distributed worldwide through the Place du Bordeaux. Only the affiliated wine merchants (including Grand Cru wines) are able to obtain this wine The Michele Chiarlo Barolo Cerequio comes from La Morra from a vineyard with an area of 2.5 Ha. The soil consists of calcareous marl of sedimentary marine origin from the Tortonian period (9 million years ago) which is characterized by an alkaline pH, poor in organic matter, but rich in microelements such as magnesium and manganese. The vineyard has a South, south-west exposure and is located at an altitude of 320 meters. Of course, harvesting is done by hand only. In the glass, this great Barolo has a ruby red color. In the nose, the wine is complex with a multitude of aromas of ripe fruit, mint, eucalyptus, herbs, red berries, crushed stone and rusty nail / iron. In the mouth, the wine has a rich palate in structure with a tight weave of fine tannins which stand out for its elegance and harmony that highlights this truly unique Barolo cru.
