2025 Chateau Minuty Rose Prestige

The Minuty Cuvée Prestige is one of the estate's two great rosés, along with the Cuvée Rose et Or. The Minuty Cuvée Prestige is made from the best grapes with a very small production. The wine is grown and produced entirely organically, meaning there is no use of artificial fertilizers, pesticides, or other chemicals. The Château Minuty vineyard is situated on the slopes of the villages of Gassin and Ramatuelle, overlooking the Gulf of Saint-Tropez. It owes its great fame to the style of its wines and their flawless consistency. The harvest is performed entirely by hand with almost bizarre perfection. Only grapes of the best quality are allowed in this edition; therefore, the initial selection is already made in the vineyards. Subsequently, the grapes are inspected one by one in the winery, and only the very best grapes are allowed into the Cuvée Prestige. Chateau Minuity has a fully automated bottling line designed to protect the rosé wines from oxidation and preserve their aromatic qualities. Chateau Minuity (and certainly the Rose et Or and the Cuvée Prestige) belongs to the top houses such as Château Camparnaud, Ott, MIP, AIX, Miraval, and Domaine Tropez, which have set the trend to produce absolute quality rosé that serves excellently as an aperitif but is certainly also excellent with lobster, shellfish, white pasta dishes, or a delicious salad. The quality and vinification are also such that the wines remain delightful during aging (2-3 years). For the Minuty Prestige, too, their groundbreaking method is used, utilizing only the first juice released during the production of their rosé wines. The weight of the grapes is sufficient to obtain a first natural pressing; this first juice is fermented and used for the flagship model, the Rose et Or, and the Cuvée Prestige (a blend of this juice and the first pressing), giving the rosé wine its lush texture and elegance. The wine is a blend of mainly Grenache, complemented by Cinsault and Syrah. In the glass, it has a typical light Provence color with light pink reflections. Fruity and fresh aroma of strawberry and citrus fruits with floral notes. Beautiful mineral, lively, and fruity taste. A fresh and very pleasant rosé.
