2022 Alejandro Fernandez Pesquera Crianza

A delightful wine from the Ribera del Duero. A classic, robust wine with ripe tannins, full fruit, and a long finish. A deep, intense red bouquet with black fruit and a subtle oak flavor. Aged for 18 months in American oak. Characteristic of the Pesquera style is that the oak adds complexity to the wine without suppressing the fruit. Quality from the founder of top wines from the Ribera del Duero. The bunches are destemmed and the grapes are fermented in stainless steel tanks. This process takes place completely naturally at 22-27°C, without the addition of any extraneous yeasts. Only after fermentation are the grapes pressed. The young wine then rests for 20 days in stainless steel tanks and is then transferred to new American oak barrels. The Crianza is aged for 18 months in wood and 6 months in bottle
