2022 Jean-René Germanier Fusio Pinot Noir

Fusio Pinot Noir 2022: elegant and refined Pinot Noir from the Valais The Fusio Pinot Noir from Jean-René Germanier comes from the central Valais, where carefully selected plots are ideal for the Pinot Noir grape. This Pinot Noir is vinified with great attention to fruitiness and refinement. After a long, cold maceration for optimal fruit extraction and colour, part of the wine is aged traditionally in barrels and part for six months in 400-litre oak barrels. On the nose, the Fusio Pinot Noir is intense and complex, with inviting aromas of blackcurrant and raspberry, complemented by spicy accents of liquorice and pepper. The taste is smooth and velvety, with a rich fruitiness that is harmoniously interwoven with subtle wood tones in the finish. This wine is versatile in its pairing options and can be enjoyed both as an aperitif and with light dishes.
