The spiciness and fresh acidity in the dish complement the refined balance in the wine. Pasta with mushrooms, truffle oil and Parmesan cheese The earthy flavors of mushrooms and the umami profile of Parmesan cheese bring out the floral and dark fruit aromas in the wine, while truffle oil provides a luxurious contrast to the finesse of the wine. Baked duck breast with fig compote and parsnip puree The sweet and savoury elements of this dish reflect the complexity of the wine. The combination with figs and parsnips brings out the elegant character of the blend, especially the Merlot and Petit Verdot.
