Weingut Prüm (Weingut Johan Josef Prüm) is a winery with a rich history. The Prüm family's roots lie in the Mosel region for over 800 years. This famous winery was founded in 1911 by Johan Josef Prüm, and in 1920, his son Sebastian joined the family business. JJ Prüm is undoubtedly the winery with the most famous Riesling wines, with some almost unaffordable versions among them (in a list of the 50 most expensive wines in the world, the Joh. Jos Prüm Wehlener Sonnenuhr Riesling Trockenbeerauslese is at number 5, with a price of around 10,000 euros!). The Wehlener Sonnenuhr Spätlese from Prüm is an absolutely magnificent wine with a drinking window of up to 2060+ years. It's full of apple and pear essences shrouded in notes of honeysuckle and lily. The Prüm Riesling Spatlese Wehlener Sonnenuhr is very delicate and has a silky texture.
