The Salentein series 'Single Vineyard' has its unique character because the grapes come from a single vineyard. We searched for the perfect combination between grape variety and micro climate, a real 'terroir' wine! Las Sequoias “Sequoia Trees” is the estate-owned vineyard located at 1,600 meters (5,250 feet) ASL in the San Pablo Appellation, Uco Valley. The cold climate, enormous thermal amplitude and humidity, together with stony soils rich in calcium carbonate and sustainable vineyard management, provide unique conditions to produce Chardonnay grapes of the highest quality. Winemaking with minimal intervention produces an exceptional expression of Chardonnay from this unique vineyard. This vineyard is surrounded by a grove where two sequoia trees, unique to Mendoza, stand out against the landscape. These trees planted more than 70 years ago give a unique personality to the vineyard. Las Sequoias Vineyard San Pablo Chardonnay stands out for the intensity and complexity of its aroma, which combines citrus peels and white flowers. The taste is long and very pleasant with notes of white fruit, citrus and a chalky minerality that makes it fresh and persistent.
