EXCLUSIVE DISCOUNT VALID UNTIL 1/12/2026 - DELIVERY SPRING 2027 The vineyards of Château Mouton Rothschild are located northwest of Bordeaux, on the edge of the Médoc. The vines are planted on a narrow strip of land 80 km long and 5 to 10 km wide, close to the river, which moderates temperature fluctuations. Bordering the northern edge of the Les Landes forest, the Médoc benefits from the mildness of the maritime climate while simultaneously being protected. In 1855, the best 61 wines from the Haut-Médoc were classified as 'Grand Cru Classé', further subdivided into the 1st to 5th Cru. Selection was based on the prices paid for the wines since approximately 1750. The 1st Cru includes Château Lafite, Latour, Margaux, and Haut-Brion. In 1973, Château Mouton was added to these four. Pauillac is situated on the Gironde, northwest of the city of Bordeaux. Pauillac (1,200 ha) is one of the best wine regions in the Haut-Médoc and lies below Saint-Estèphe. The village has three Premier Grands Cru Classés: Château Latour, Château Lafite Rothschild, and Château Mouton Rothschild. In total, 18 Grand Cru Classés of Pauillac account for 80% of the vineyard area in this commune. The topsoil of this wine region consists of gravel, with a subsoil of clay and limestone. The 2023 Mouton Rothschild is a blend of 93% Cabernet Sauvignon and 7% Merlot. The 2024 Mouton Rothschild, which incorporates slightly more Cabernet Sauvignon this year, was harvested between September 23 and October 5 and aged for 18 months in 100% new oak. The bouquet is restrained, with aromas of blackberry, cedarwood, and graphite slowly unfolding. The nose is very refined and detailed, although the wood is still somewhat prominent at this stage. On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied and quite linear in style, with fine tannins. It is a less exuberant Mouton Rothschild, in line with the character of the vintage, where the wine discreetly gains depth towards the finish and reveals a hint of white pepper in the aftertaste. Stylish, very stylish. Ratings: 97-98 James Suckling, 96-98 Alexandre Ma, 96 Falstaff Magazine, 96 Decanter, 95-97 Jeb Dunnuck, 95 Jean-Marc Quarin, 94 Jane Anson, 93-95 Vinous (A.
