According to the Wine Advocate, the wine of the 2020 vintage is La Conseillante La Conseillante, a blend of 86% Merlot and 14% Cabernet Franc, which rises from the glass with enticing aromas of raspberry, red cherry and mulberry, mingling with exotic spice, violet and rose petal. Medium to full-bodied, silky and vibrant, it is a beautifully elegant, sensual wine with a deep core of fruit framed by powdery tannins and a long, lush floral finish. This is a Pomerol of striking purity and refinement, and this 2020, according to Parker, even surpasses the already highly rated 2016 and 2019.
