Musigny 2024 Louis Jadot

The Louis Jadot Musigny is a wine from the Grand Cru vineyard "Musigny" in the Côte de Nuits, this 2024 vintage from Louis Jadot is a pure Pinot Noir wine from this appellation. During the growing season they suffered from hail however the first two weeks of August were marked by warm, dry weather which improved the conditions of the grapes, though overall the result is a smaller harvest than what they were able to achieve in Côte de Beaune. The Jadot winery used less new oak in the cellar for this vintage, allowing the fruity aromas, such as red cherries, berries, flowers, and subtle spicy notes, to take center stage. The tannins are delicate and silky, and the finish is long and refreshing. Jadot has been producing wine in Burgundy since 1859. It is recommended to decant this wine while young. It will be at its best between 2030 and 2050
