Maya Proprietary Red wine 2017 Dalla Valle

Two-thirds Cabernet Sauvignon, one-third Cabernet Franc: this is the 2017 vintage Maya, a red wine produced at Dalla Valle, in Napa Valley. 2017 was a sweltering year. Although the Labor Day heatwave temporarily halted the vines' growth, ripening was completed in early October, and all the grapes were harvested before the wildfire that struck Napa later that month. This hillside vineyard spans 10 hectare, 8 of which are planted with vines and cultivated according to biodynamic principles. Naoko Dalla Valle is the founder and owner, and Andy Erickson has been making wine here since 2007.While it is perfectly drinkable now, give it an hour in a decanter. It is best enjoyed between 2021 and 2045
