Loison's famous mandarin panettone in XXL version.
- The Giant Mandarin Panettone offers a soft, well
- dried dough, enriched with sweet raisins, juicy candied peel of Ciaculli Late Mandarin and natural Mananara vanilla from Madagascar.
- The 3 kg Magnum format is part of a limited production, designed to celebrate special occasions with the softness and quality of Made in Loison products.
- The story goes that Panettone was invented in Milan during the reign of Ludovico di Moro. During a banquet, the pastry chef prepared a dish that, according to custom, was supposed to be a real delicacy made with marzipan, dried fruit, spices, and honey. Unfortunately for him, he burned his cake. He had to quickly find a backup solution and called on his apprentice, Toni, who had prepared sweet breads for the cooks' table. These breads were handmade from a mixture of flour, eggs, butter, sugar, and yeast, all decorated with a handful of raisins and candied fruit. The distinguished guests present were surprised at the bread that was served to them. They tasted it and wondered, "But what delicious bread is this?" A reply came back: "Toni's bread." "We must find a name for this delight… El pan de Toni, we will call it Panettone!" And that is how this famous sweet bread was invented, now a must
- have during the holiday season. Available in a multitude of recipes, Panettone is now popular all over the world!
