Mediterranean olive tree 'Cipressino' - Olea europaea Shape and appearance The slender, columnar olive tree 'Cipressino' adds an elegant touch to any room or garden. Its evergreen foliage and narrow growth habit are reminiscent of the Mediterranean coast. Presented in a solid stone decorative pot, the tree looks particularly stylish and adds rustic charm to your surroundings. Location and placement Place the olive tree in a bright spot with direct sunlight or in partial shade. It thrives on balconies and terraces as well as in living rooms or conservatories. Make sure to protect it from cold north winds if you keep it outdoors. Care and watering The 'Cipressino' prefers evenly moist but well-drained soil. Water regularly and avoid waterlogging to prevent root rot. In winter, sparse watering is sufficient, while in warm months, slightly more moisture and occasional spraying of the leaves is recommended. Flowers and fruit formation After a few years, delicate flowers may appear, from which small, decorative olives develop. These fruits are not suitable for consumption, but they add a Mediterranean highlight and emphasise the natural character of the tree. Design ideas and atmosphere Whether as a striking solitary plant in a corner or in a row, the 'Cipressino' olive tree adds attractive accents. Combine it with natural stone elements or simple wooden furniture for a harmonious overall look. This will create an oasis of relaxation in your home or on your patio.
