The Pungent Punchiness is so named for its aromatic scents and represents an intriguing savoury twist on the traditional Christmas hamper. With a trio of 200g waxed cheese truckles, which we think is the right size of truckle. Not so small as a 50g or 100g mini, which just seems a wee bit too miserable and not so big as a 400g which just seems to overwhelm the spectacle and makes it too much to eat. There's a happy compromise in many things and this size of cheese has been popular traditionally for decades for a reason. There's pan-made Chutney, which has been bottled and cellared for an entire year before we are prepared to sell it because it gets better with age and then there is Cucumber Relish, which brings variation to the chutney and enables six different taste choices for the trio of cheeses. With Garlicky Olives, nuts, chips and Biltong, we bring your attention to the healthiness of the ingredients and the purity of the flavours. Finally options exist to alter the standard wine pairing to the other most popularly requested regions of the world, namely Bordeaux, Tuscany, New Zealand and the Australian States.
