Year-round, intensely evergreen foliage has a high-gloss shine and blue to purple highlights, and stems, plus extraordinary bright red berries to enhance your bonsai collection big time!. The wavy edges won't stab like traditional Holly but retain that classic leaf shape. The dense growth is bushy and rounded. Holly has always been considered a mystical plant in ancient Europe because it was a rare broad-leaf that retained its foliage through winter. It came to represent the spirit of the vegetation and thus was common to cut for the winter solstice, hence our holiday decorating traditions. Hardy. Keep outdoors
