Cryptomeria Black Dragon Bonsai Tree (cryptomeria 'black dragon')

Cryptomeria is the national tree of Japan. It can be found planted at many sacred sites. It has redish brown bark which peels in vertical strips. The wood is scented, waterproof, lightweight, and strong, so it is used for all types of construction in Japan. During winter, the foliage may change color from green to bronze or burgundy. The Cryptomeria has soft and plume-like foliage that resembles dreadlocks and ringlets. Keep Outdoors
