Who was St. Patrick? What did he do? Why is there a holiday on 17th March name after him? I am sure many of you might have gone through this. Before we commence on the actual topic let me tell you an interesting story about St. Patrick. During 385 AD a boy was born into a wealthy Christian family in the British village. And he was called Patrick.
Despite being in a family where everyone had devout faith in the lord, Patrick didn’t get involved. At the age of 16, he was kidnapped by Irish kidnappers and took him to Ireland where he started working as a slave. But in his memoir, he stated that he heard the voice of God in the dream saying to walk 200 miles across the Irish coast. He left and found the ship that took him back to his hometown.
